OEM Mitsubishi Ball Joints
The ball joints in your Mitsubishi connect the control arm to the vehicle's steering knuckle. The ball joints are pivots between the vehicle's suspension and your wheels. The ball joints in your vehicle have to deal with a substantial amount of abuse, as you drive across different types of terrain. When there are bumps in the road, the suspension, which includes the ball joints, helps to make the ride a bit smoother for you. These are what help hold your wheel to your car and allow your tires to be able to go up and down and turn with ease. Upper and lower ball joints are attached to your vehicle's control arms. If they wear out, it's important to get them replaced. If you hear clunking noises coming from the front of suspension, it could indicate a bad ball joint. Too much vibration from the front of the vehicle and uneven wear on the tires can be indicators of a problem, as well. You do not want to drive around on a bad ball joint. If they were to break, the wheel could move in any direction. Instead, replace them with quality OEM parts for your Mitsubishi. Check out the ball joint options we offer below.
